Reintroducing Myself: Living with Food Allergies

Hi, I’m Jessica! 👋 If you’re new here, welcome — and if you’ve been following along, thank you so much for being part of this space. I thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself and share a little about who I am, the allergies I live with, and why I started this platform.

Who I Am

I’m 30 years old and living in New York City with my husband and our pup, Teddy. Outside of allergy life, I love traveling, fashion, and spending time with my family and best friends!

My Allergies

I live with dairy, peanut, tree nut, and sesame allergies. I was first diagnosed as a kid through allergy testing with peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame seeds. Around age 16, I became lactose intolerant (which I treat like an allergy!). Ever since, I’ve navigated all the big and small moments of life with allergies — from childhood birthday parties to office lunches, vacations, and everything in between.

Why I Started This Platform

For a long time, I wanted to share my stories and experiences so others could feel less alone. Living with allergies can sometimes feel isolating or overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to. My goal is to make food allergies relatable, approachable, and manageable, while also showing that you can live fully and joyfully with them!
